Every year in early February when cabin fever starts to set, there is a place to escape for the Sportsmen!  The Sportsmen’s Banquet of East Bay Calvary Church!  When you enter the facility, you step into an exciting world of wildlife with fascinating animal mounts at every turn.

 Over the last seven years the banquet and program have become a community event that draws hundreds of Sportsmen, both men and women.  The last few years nearly 900 have been in attendance.  The event is truly a place where those who love the outdoors can gather for relevant information on hunting and fishing.  Each guest has a chance to win some great prizes and enjoy great entertainment and music.  Everyone leaves with at least one gift.

 Each year we’ve been giving away 3 grand prizes each worth over $1,000, plus around 40 guns and dozens of other great prizes that Sportsmen love.  We’ve had some of the biggest names in hunting and fishing such as Jimmy Houston and some of the funniest in the industry like Joey Hancock.  Every year these special speakers share their hunting and fishing expertise and how God has worked in their lives over the years.  

 The event is like none other and each year more and more attend to be a part of this unique family friendly time.  Our motto has been, “Enjoying creation and loving the Creator.”  Throughout the evening we take the time to be reminded of this incredible gift that surrounds us in nature.
